Origins of our long-term partnership

EY Etventure needed a development partner who could turn their ideas into functional digital solutions for enterprise clients. Some projects required rapid MVP development, while others evolved into long-term, fully-fledged digital platforms. They needed a reliable team they could trust to do both, moving fast for MVPs while bringing the expertise and experience required for large-scale projects. With over a decade of experience in product development, we were the perfect fit.

Over the course of our eight-year partnership with EY Etventure, we collaborated on more than 15 digital transformation projects for enterprise clients across Europe, particularly in Germany. These included 13 MVPs, built to quickly test and validate ideas, as well as four large-scale projects that evolved into long-term digital solutions lasting years. Our expertise gave EY Etventure the comfort to focus on strategy while we seamlessly handled the product development.

Driving digital transformation together

Our partnership worked as a seamless collaboration. EY Etventure focused on research, business analysis, and strategy, identifying opportunities and shaping new ideas. We turned those ideas into reality through rapid MVP development, allowing companies to test and validate concepts before committing to full-scale projects. Once built, EY Etventure leveraged the MVPs to market and refine the concept. As their long-term product development partner, we helped bring ideas to life at speed, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to execution.

But our collaboration extended beyond rapid prototyping. Over the years, we also worked on large-scale enterprise projects that continued to evolve long after their initial launch, including our ongoing six-year project with Heinrich Schmid, a 100-year-old German company undergoing a major digital transformation. Alongside this, we delivered impactful solutions for industry leaders like Mercedes-Benz, Knauf, BASF, and Wüstenrot, modernizing their operations and solidifying our partnership as a force in digital transformation.

Our work spanned across multiple industries, partnering with some of Germany’s most established and globally recognized companies in automotive, construction, real estate, chemical, e-commerce, publishing, and the service sector. Each project played a crucial role in modernizing business operations, streamlining workflows, and accelerating digital transformation efforts, ensuring their clients could adapt to the evolving digital landscape.

Our services beyond development

Our role in this partnership went beyond just development. We were an extension of EY Etventure’s team, working directly with their Project Managers, meeting with clients, brainstorming ideas, and shaping roadmaps. We didn’t just build what was requested, we actively participated in defining projects and planning execution.

By simplifying processes and aligning goals, we helped ease the workload on their PMs, allowing them to prioritize strategic decision-making while we handled the technical complexities. This support was a key reason our partnership remained strong for so many years.

This is why, despite their deep expertise in strategy and research, EY Etventure chose not to invest in expanding their internal software development division. Instead, they chose to partner with us for eight years, integrating our team so seamlessly that we functioned as their dedicated in-house development unit. With full trust in our technical expertise, they never had to worry about the complexities of development, allowing them to focus entirely on the business side while we handled the tech.

Together with EY Etventure, we weren’t just a consulting firm and a development partner, we operated as a unified digital transformation team. And for that, we owe a huge thanks to Philipp Herrmann, the founder and CEO of EY Etventure at the time, and Senior Product Manager Ayhan Koçak, whose leadership played a key role in shaping this partnership. And of course, a special appreciation goes to their exceptional Project Managers, Sebastian Timm, Fabian Tschullik, Gregor Ilg, Alla Kopylova, and Konrad Schwarz, who worked alongside us to navigate challenges, refine ideas, and drive lasting impact.
